It's our 90th Anniversary!

This year, we celebrate 90 years and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Since 1936, our story has been shaped by the people who have walked through our doors, trusted us with their goals, and allowed us to be part of their lives. Reaching this milestone isn’t just about our longevity, it’s about the generations of members who have stood with us, 
supported us, and grown with us.

For 90 years, we’ve watched members open their first accounts, buy their first cars, purchase homes, send children to college, and plan for their futures. Your loyalty has allowed us not only to serve you, but to evolve and improve in ways that help you move through life with greater confidence in the financial decisions you make.

Saturday Lobby Hours: Trial Period

Beginning Saturday, October 4, 2025, we will begin a trial reopening of our lobby on Saturdays.

While our Saturday hours have not changed, this reopening will allow us to better serve you inside the branch and help reduce wait times at the drive-up window—especially when more complex transactions are needed.

Lobby and Drive-Up Hours (Unchanged):
Saturdays 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

This decision is part of our ongoing commitment to improving your experience while balancing current staffing availability. The lobby will be open on Saturdays during this trial period, which will run through the end of the year.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we test this new schedule and work to find the best way to serve you. Please note that this is a trial, and your feedback is welcome during this time. Thank you for being a valued member of our credit union community. We’re grateful for your continued trust and look forward to seeing you again in the lobby.

 


Important Update Regarding Check Cashing

Due to an increase in mailbox thefts and fraudulent check washing* in our area, the credit union will no longer be cashing checks for non-members. What does this mean? If you write a personal check from your credit union account or give a credit union official check to an individual(s) that is not a credit union member, the individual(s) will not be able to come into the credit union and get cash for the check. The individual(s) will have to bring the check to their own financial institution to deposit or cash. As always, we encourage you to monitor your account(s) on a regular basis and contact the credit union immediately if you notice any suspicious activity at 860-253-4780.

*Check washing is the process of erasing details from checks to allow them to be rewritten, usually for criminal purposes such as fraudulent withdrawals from the victim's credit union or bank account.
